Buying the Perfect Kids Wakesurf Board

We know the frustration and possible tears that can come from teaching your kids how to surf. We aim to lessen the frustration and possible tears by setting you up with the perfect board for you and your kids. In this blog, we will show you three different boards and help you find the board that will be best for your kids.

The Phase 5 Scamp

The Scamp is a lightweight board made with a wide profile, a thin skim-style core, and a tri-fin set-up. The wide profile makes the board very stable and fast while the skim-style core provides float and still allows the small riders to maneuver the board. The tri-fin set-up provides drive and locks in on the wave. The defining characteristic of the Scamp is its lightweight allowing the younger, smaller riders to get up on the board with ease.

The Hyperlite Gromcast 3.9

The Gromcast is the all-around surfer! The wide profile of the Gromcast makes it to surf and fun for all the kids to enjoy. The wide profile provides plenty of surface area allowing the board to be stable and easy for the younger riders to stay up on and feel confident on top of the board.

The Liquid Force Gromi

The Liquid Force Gromi is made for all the little rippers out there. The beveled rail edge is catch free which helps with control and learning. The optional foot straps are perfect for those little rippers who have wakeboarded or snowboarded before. The straps help the little rippers to feel more comfortable on the board and make it easier to flip the board up when you are first starting.
