Phase 5 Hypsta Wakesurf Board 2017
The Phase 5 Hypsta
It's a bit challenging to describe the Hypsta - every time you think that you have it nailed down you see another way that it's just awesome. Phase 5 took things to a whole new level with this board - thinking outside the box and looking to build a board that doesn't necessarily fit the mold. The Hypsta shatters the conventional with an ultra wide squared swallowtail, 3 different fin options, a wider than normal profile and reduced thickness throughout. What you end up with is the one-of-a-kind board that no one would expect but everyone will love. Here are some ways that riders will enjoy the Hypsta:
Big Guys - Bigger riders can ride the Hypsta up to 7 inches smaller than a typical skimmer. That means you can carve, spin and blast off without having to ride a giant plank.
Smaller Wave Guys - The Hypsta can handle smaller waves because of the increased surface area but isn't too buoyant for smaller guys, ladies or teens.
Novice Riders - The Hypsta is equipped with 3 fins that can be removed as your riding improves. It is a board that is a cinch to get set in the water and makes it easy to throw the rope. Stable but VERY maneuverable.
Advanced Riders - Bottom line: this is a high performance Phase 5 which means it spins, moves, reacts and shreds spectacularly. Run it with multiple fins for more bite when you feel like getting fancy or go down to a single and this board becomes a stable spinning machine.
When it comes down to it this board is just different than any other board out there but it is almost guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser.
Since it is like nothing else, Phase 5 thought yours should be like nothing else too. EVERY Hypsta features unique resin art that is applied by specialty shapers in Venice, Florida. All colors, accents, designs, etc. are unique to each board and no two will ever be the same!
