performance.The 51-30 Tide version comes
with a custom tide dial and is equipped with
your choice of either a stainless steel or polyurethane band. The 51-30 Tide
also features a 3-hand Swiss quartz movement for smooth and accurate time
telling.

MOVEMENT: Custom 3 hand Swiss quartz with easy to read tide sub
dial. Fast adjust button for easy setting of tide.
CASE: Custom 300 meter
stainless steel with hardened mineral crystal, external rotating bezel with
countdown timer, and screw crown at 9 o‘clock position. 51.25mm
diameter.
BAND: Custom injected polyurethane band with patented locking
looper and stainless steel buckle. 25mm wide.

More compliments than my Cartier |
| I purchased this watch from BoardCo last year. I love wearing this watch, but the white band makes you choose your days wisely. As soon as you put it on,it'll start to discolor, taking on the shades of any garments that come in contact with it. Avoid wearing it with any long sleeve shirts or jackets as the colors will soak into this band. I've tried everything possible to clean this band, and it just doesn't work. From bleach, to bleach pens, to Westley's white wall tire cleaner, to nail polish remove. Mr. Clean erasers. You'll be forced to pay Nixon to replace it, if you want a bright white band. But, I've learned to deal with it, and sport my off white 51-30PU every weekend. |

| I bought this based on Nixon's reputation for making superior watches. I have to say that it's quality and fitment are just perfect. This watch is very large in comparison to others, but it's not uncomfortable or gaudy. I went with the PU band because the metal was really heavy with the large diameter. Plus, i felt this was more of a casual watch so no metal band really was necessary. Give the plastic band a day or two to wear in and its super comfortable. In addition to a well placed clasp there is a band lock that works extremely well. Its pretty tough to get the band in and out of it at first, but you'll get used to it as it wears down. All in all. Excellent. I'll be buying another nixon for sure. |
