Shipping Policy

CHRISTMAS SHIPPING: All express shipments on orders placed before December 19 are guaranteed to be delivered before Christmas.  Orders placed by December 20 and placed as 2-day shipping are guaranteed by Christmas, and orders placed by December 21 at 1:00 p.m. are guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas when Next-Day/Overnight Shipping is selected.  Shipping guarantee is valid on in stock items only.  *BoardCo Inc. is not responsible for shipping delays caused by UPS or any other carrier.

Free Shipping: Currently we offer free shipping on all standard orders over $75 within the Continental US.  All orders, consisting of non-closeout items in excess of $75.00, qualify for free ground shipping within the 48 contiguous United States (Ground Service is not available to Hawaii or Alaska).  If free shipping is selected, the order will be shipped standard UPS Ground (unless specified otherwise).  Closeout, demo, sale and discontinued  items do not qualify for free shipping and, when ordered, multiple alternate shipping options will be offered. 

Please note that our website states, "Free GROUND freight within the 48 contiguous United States."  However, we do give alternate shipping methods, as some customers prefer expedited shipping.  Upon checkout, you must choose which shipping method you prefer:  Express Saver (3rd Day Air), 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air, or UPS Ground service. Please be advised that UPS is our primary courier.  However, other shipping companies may be used. 

FREE FREIGHT is not available on orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or other foreign countries.
Since our website is for US orders, if the free freight option is chosen and the order does not qualify for free freight, we will send an e-mail with the shipping options.

Shipping Times:  We give first priority to expedited orders, with ground orders receiving lower priority.  Generally, all expedited orders will be shipped the same day if ordered online before 8:00 A.M. MST on a weekday.  Ground shipments, generally, are shipped the following business day, but, under some circumstances, shipping may be delayed.  If your order is expected to be delayed in shipping, we will notify you via e-mail or telephone. Please note that we do not ship items on Saturday or Sunday, so orders placed on either of those days will not ship until, at the very earliest, Monday. PLEASE NOTE THAT NORMAL SHIPPING POLICIES DO NOT APPLY AFTER DECEMBER 10TH DUE TO THE VOLUME OF ORDERS WE RECEIVE DURING THE HOLIDAYS.

Receiving Time:  Please be aware that expedited shipping (1-3 day air) refers to BUSINESS days and does not include weekends.  Also, please be advised that your order may not ship the same day you order it.  Standard ground shipping generally takes 1-4 business days to receive (in the Western US) and 3-6 business days (in the Eastern US).  However, since we have no control over your order once it has been shipped, we are not responsible for delays in shipping due to Fed Ex, Fed Ex Ground, or UPS. Claims for timely delivery must be taken up with the courier service. Ground shipping times are not guaranteed.  PLEASE NOTE THAT GUARANTEED DELIVERY THROUGH OUR CARRIERS DOES NOT APPLY FROM DECEMBER 15TH THROUGH DECEMBER 26TH.  

Towers:  Most of the towers that we sell are so large that they must ship via truck freight. Once shipped, truck freight usually arrives in 3-14 days,  depending on your location.  Unfortunately, at the current time, there are no expedited methods for shipping most towers.

International Orders:  We do ship internationally.  Since our shipping charts only figure for U.S. orders, please contact us for international shipping rates.  Please e-mail our international shipping department with your name, address, postal code and the exact item(s), including size(s) you would like at sales@boardco.com.  We will respond via e-mail with a shipping quote.  If you place an international order via our website, you will receive an e-mail with the necessary forms and shipping options.  Please click here for more information.

Military Personnel Orders:  We do ship to APO's. However, since they require special handling and shipping (we do not use the US Mail for standard orders), there is an additional fee for shipping.  Once you have placed your order, we will e-mail you with the additional charges.  We will then wait to ship your order until you approve the shipping/handling charges.  Please note that some items are too large to ship via the mail system.

Items Out of Stock:  If you order an item that is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you either by e-mail or by phone.  If an item is currently out of stock, we can generally get a replacement item in 2-3 business days. PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER, MOST OF OUR CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE THROUGH E-MAIL.

Damaged/Mis-shipped Items:  We make every effort to send your order packaged properly, correctly, and completely.  Unfortunately, occasionally there may be errors or damage.  Mis-shipments, damage, or shipping errors must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery so that we may promptly submit a claim to the courier or rectify the problem.  We are not responsible for mis-shipments, damage, or shipping errors not reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Incorrect Shipping Address Given:  If you give us a delivery address that is incomplete or requires correction by the delivery company (UPS, Fed Ex, United States Postal Service, DHL, etc.), you will be charged the correction fee (charged by the shipping company - usually $5.00 - $15, depending on the company).  If you give us an address that is not a deliverable address, you will be charged for the shipping and the return shipping plus a return/re-stocking fee on the merchandise. 

Cancelled Orders:  We make every effort to process your order promptly.  If you decide to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible and obtain a cancellation number.  Your order is not considered "cancelled" until you obtain this cancellation number from us.  If your order has already been processed but not shipped, you may be subject to a cancellation fee.  If your order has already shipped, your order does not qualify for cancellation, and, if returned, will be charged all freight fees and a re-stocking fee. 

Orders Not Received:  Please note that it is your responsibility to contact us if you do not receive your order within the expected shipping time.  We are not responsible for orders lost by the shipping courier if we are not alerted by you within the courier's time limits.

Credit Card Chargebacks:  Please note that if you initiate a chargeback on your credit card, and the credit card company declines the chargeback, you will be charged a $35 fee.
