If you want to know what the DB9 is capable of, just type "Josh Twelker" into Vimeo and prepare to have your brain melt. The highest tech, lightest, greenest board in the CWB line just got more high tech, lighter and greener. Start with a 5 lb/ft3 density PVC foam and insert a 3.5” wide poplar wood stringer from tip to tail. The wood helps bond the top to the bottom and provides a consistent flex. The top shell incorporates bamboo to add strength and reduce weight. This unique process is the lightest and strongest on the market. The DB9 shape is clean and fast. The flat bottom design features a huge center spine that runs tip to tail which softens landings. The beveled edge rail adds strength and allows a smooth edge change. Four aluminum fins are bolted to the continuous rocker shape for the perfect amount of grip. Josh Twelker slays up the Delta on the DB9.

Softest Landings
I picked up a DB9 after someone told me it would have the softest landings of any board out there. After I rode it once, I was hooked. This wakeboard lands softer than any other board I have ever ridden by a long ways and pops great too. If you have bad knees, the DB9 is the board for you.

Good but not for me
The DB9 was a great board in many ways - super smooth feel, soft landings and aggressive pop but didn't quite have the feel I was looking for. I chose to ride the Groove instead because of the flex and controlled pop but think most people would be really happy with the DB9.

138cm = 120 - 200 lbs.

144cm = 160 - 260 lbs.
